We purchased this stove for a newly renovated kitchen. We originally purchased it because of the slate color but now love all the features. We were a little worried of the glass cooktop getting scratched but after almost a year, it looks brand new. Everything about this stove is perfect. I would not change a thing about it.

I bought this stove in Nov. 2013. The convection fan was hitting something and making a clanging noise. We discontinued using the convection feature. In August 2014 the "hot surface" continues to glow even when the unit is cold. We have called a serviceman. He came and discovered that a sensor in one of the burners is broken. He ordered a part but it is on back order and will not be in until mid September. He fixed the convection fan noise. He found that the grill in front of the fan had gotten pushed back so the fan blades were hitting it. We are waiting for him to return and repair the stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've been using ours for several months and have no complaints except that, just as all flat top stoves - when something boils over or spills... it stains. We have used the cleaners and you can still see it - but love the timers, the look and it cooks too.

Hard to clean

This was included in the new home I just purchased. The flat top is super difficult to clean and to keep clean. Food burns on the surface and does not come off. I am afraid to scrub as I might scratch it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
