Cooking with Convection

This is our first time cooking with convection and we really like it. The oven is easy to clean inside and out but the cook top scratches easily. We had to get rid of a few pots and pans as they did not have the required specifications to prevent scratching.
Other than the scratching we are happy with the cooking, heating and baking of this stove.

Nice but ...

I bought this GE stove as the last GE stove I had was 17 years old, although still working fairly well. I like the cooking features & everything seems to work well. HOWEVER, the stove top is impossible to clean!! This is not the first smooth-top stove that I have owned but it is by FAR the worst to clean & to keep clean! Even with the product that was given to me with the purchase doesn't do a good job. It's streaky & has not looked clean since the day it was first used (can't even get "stuff" off with a razor blade). I know GE can do better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second ceramic top stove but first with convection oven option. The well labeled controls made it easy to adjust to the new appliance and the oven has maintained even and accurate temperatures while baking with is a real must.

Great Oven

Oven has worked perfectly for us! This is our first flat top oven and we were leery to get one, but it has proved beyond doubt for us in its reliability and features. Easy to keep clean and just a beautiful oven

GE Range - The Only One for Me!

I grew up with a GE range and it's the only brand that I have ever purchased for my home. They are the BEST and the only one for me! Thanks General Electric for making a product that lasts for generations!

Great Range!!

I purchased this range about 2 months ago. First off, the tie-breaker for me on this range compared to other brands was the size of the drawer. It is the only major appliance brand with a decent size drawer. This is hard to evaluate because no company puts the size of that drawer in the range dimensions. If use of that drawer is important to you, make sure you go to a store and look at this feature with your own eyes.
I asked the repairman who declared the oven in my prior range on its last legs, for a brand recommendation from his perspective and he recommended GE from his experience with many brands.
Overall the range works very well and looks nice. The power boils are quick; all the elements heat up quick but also cool down quickly which is very nice. It is well-insulated so when the oven is on a high amount of heat is not generated into the kitchen.
I've not had to clean it yet so can't comment on that feature. I will say that if you want it to look nice, you do have to keep up with the top so it is a bit more high maintenance with the mirror-finish black top compared to my previous range with a black top that wasn't so mirror-like. That said, the cleaner sample does work well and I can tell it acts like a good wax on your car and helps repel messes so be sure you use it!

This is my first convection range, it really has speeded up food preparation! I am a believer in buying locally made products, etc. and haven't been disappointed yet!

GE Stove

The stove works well, but getting the temperature, etc. is complicated. Every time I turn on the stove I have to review how to do everything. Also,it takes a LONG time on preheating.
