Recent purchase, but so far I love it. Did not give it an excellent rating as it is new & may turn out to be just "good", but am hopeful. Heard good things about GE and it is assembled in the USA (Georgia, to be exact. My home state.).

CAUTIOUS OF GLASS COOKTOP

The range is beautiful and seems to cook well. It gets hot fast. It takes a long while to cool down - but has a nice indicator light to tell you that it's still hot. The cooktop (glass) is demanding. You can't use cast iron on the range unless the pan is fully enameled. You have to clean it with a specific type of cleaner and scrubber. Recommendation is that it's cleaned every day - in 2014 America?!? I think that's unrealistic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like this stove and the way that it looks in my kitchen, however, I only gave it 4 stars because the black is hard to keep clean and shows streaks.

Great color and features

Replaced a 20 year old stove. We love the double burners and how quickly it heats. The smooth top is much easier to clean than our old stove. The convection oven works great. Just a little trial and error getting used to cooking times.
