I am not happy with my GE range. I've had mine 2.5 years. The cooktop burners burn too hot, even on the lowest setting, the pot of food is boiling away. Even though the oven is a true temperature, things over cook all the time. No wonder it's no longer being manufactured.

Can't regulate cooking heat

Impossible to adjust heat. Either burns food or doesn't cook it. I am not keeping it.

Love the Double Oven

I bought this range because I loved the GE double oven I chose for another home 12 years ago. I liked the 2 timers in my older model and the 2 oven lights. This oven only has 1 timer & 1 oven light button that turn both oven lights on. This newer model does have a cook ahead of time function that my older one doesn't have. The smaller top oven preheats in a fraction of the time the lower large oven heats up. I use my smaller top oven 99% of the time.

I have owned this stove for a few years now and every year one of the burners fails and I have to hire someone to replace it each time. The money that I have spent on the burners is outrageous and I could have bought 2 brand new stoves by now with all the money I have spent and now my burner broke today again. I am never buying GE again.

Works well, simple to use, but 2 burners failed

We bought this range because we wanted a simple, easy to use, convection electric range with a flat glass top. We didn't want too many complex, high-tech, frivolous features. Those are usually just additional points of failure anyway! We've been very happy this this range, but 2 of the burners have failed and needed to be replaced. One failed about 1.5 years after purchase. The other just failed about 4 years after purchase. This range is used every day, multiple times per day. So, it has held up fairly well, considering how much we use it.

Poor reliability

I purchased this item in Oct 2014..Lasted 5.5 years. Last week when I turned on the oven a strong (burning) electrical smell occurred. Touching the rear of the oven proved to be very hot. We immediately stopped using the oven and ordered a new one. It is only my wife and I so this oven never got much use...Very frustrated on the poor reliability

Awesome Range

We love our new range! It is great to have the warming eye on the stove. When we bought it, I didn't think I would really use it however I seem to use this eye everytime we cook. LOVE IT!!!
