Nice looking but I have issues

The black cooktop needs to be cleaned frequently. The burners vary on how quick they heat and cool. I'm not happy with the convection oven. I tried cookie baking using two cookie sheets but it didn't cook them evenly like its suppose to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's okay. The 24-year old stove I replaced it with burner heated up faster than this stove top

Poor cook top! Does not regulate the heat very well.

only had it a week like convection, like the sleekness and overall look. If it is as good as other GE products it would of been a good purchase.

Love this stove

I purchased this stove about a year ago. I wanted to use it before I wrote a review. I am not disappointed. I use it every day and I love it. The burners heat up quickly and stay at a nice even temp. I like the 2 choices on one burner. The convection oven works great when baking 2 cookie sheets and many rack positions. I have put a few scratches in the slate finish on top just from use. That will happen when you use it. The ceramic top cleans easily also. I have used a cast iron skillet on it and it did leave a scar but it's dark like the top so I can live with it.
I really do love the oven and I'm glad I bought it.

I have had thid for a couple months now and it is working very well. Only thing is that t seems to be taking a long time to burn off the odor of hot steel or what ever it is coated with. Still smell it when I use the oven.

I'm in love with this oven

We first bought this oven in white a few years ago. Then, we bought a new house which had all stainless steel appliances. We sold our old white GE oven, and then bought the exact same model, except newer, in stainless steel.
This oven is user friendly and has features that prove GE had the owner in mind when they designed it. It's easy to clean, easy to use, looks great, and has considerable space inside the oven and bottom drawer. I'll never buy another brand again. Support your fellow American workers and buy GE! I'm a GE owner for life.
