I love to cook on this stove! food heats perfectly on all burners with options for size and even a warming spot. the oven has a options for convection or conventional heat to also cook food evenly. plus the look of the slate is nice and easy to clean.

We bought this about a month ago to replace our propane stove/oven. It was still working but we wanted to switch to electric. The old appliance was still working but it had to go. Installation was a breeze, all I had to do was attach a power cord. We love the easy to clean stove top and it just looks good too.

Nice Appearance

No one told us the surface only worked with certain types of cookware so most of ours had to be changed out. Settings around the knobs are difficult to see.Surface scratches easily. Bottom pull out drawer does not glide in and out smoothly. Burners will turn on and off frequently especially with a non flat bottom pot. Oven takes to long to pre-heat
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm still getting used to ….

the cooktop and the convection oven, but so far I like them. My first real use for the range was to cook a turkey for thanksgiving, with all the usual side dishes. The range performed very well. The top does get quite hot when it is used and also when the oven is used, but there's a special warning light that's very helpful. The fifth burner - a warming burner - is also a neat feature. So far the only downside is I can't use my two favorite skillets: one is cast iron and the other no longer has a flat enough bottom.

This model has a lot of cool features - steam clean, convection and automatic oven door light - in addition to the regular features. I can't wait to cook and bake for a large dinner!
