I desperately needed a new range and since I will only buy appliances at Home Depot, I chose this beauty. I love it!! Very easy to operate and the smooth top is so amazing and such a change from coils. It is everything and more than I expected. Just used the oven for first time and it was right on with heat and cooking time. The settings are very easy to operate and even the burner knobs are attractive.
A real joy to cook on. I could not be happier.

I just purchased this to replace my coiled stove. Very excited about how great this looks. I compared this to many other brands and other GE's that were more expensive and found this was the best deal. Middle of the road. It is not self cleaning, but really, who uses this function anyway. I had an appliance repair person tell me you should never use this function as it can actually ruin the range. I love the extra large window in the door. Can't wait to start using this!!

Don't like the smooth top.

I just recently purchased the product. I had never owned a smooth top range in the past, so I was hopeful that I would like it, but I was told that they were hard to keep clean. They were so right....I think I would just assume have my coil top back than worry about trying to keep the top of this clean. It is near impossible....even after just a couple of uses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
