I bought it about 6 month ago and though it works perfectly fine the surface got scratches even after cleaning perfectly and not using any hard cooking pots or pans. Overall ok product. Not GE standard
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cooktop cracked after 18 months

We have been pretty happy with this oven until the stove top cracked last night. My wife turned on the burner and the cooktop cracked across the entire cooktop. I am looking into our warranty at this time but I'm pretty sure it's only one year. We are very disappointed to say the least.

Purchased this range after 27 years with my old one. Took a little getting used to, but it works REALLY well. Oven cooks evenly and the stove is perfect.

Purchased in Oct 2015 and use top burners several times a day. Love the way it heats almost instantly and cooks evenly. Have only used oven three times and pleased with results. All in all a great range at a great price.
