Flat top surface

This is the first flat top surface range I have ever owned. I think it beats a traditional range with eyes hands down. Just the ease of cleaning the top has me sold on this range.

I've had this range for a couple months now. I got it to replace a nearly 25 year old electric range! I love the smooth cooktop that is so easy to keep clean. I love how fast the oven preheats, and the PowerBoil front burner that really does bring liquids to boil very quickly and is versatile for either small or large pots.

We've had another glass stove top for 18 years, and the dual burner features on this one are a,great and useful innovation. Good price as well!

New Experience

Had a copper colored GE coil top range. Found out it was 42 years old. Had been looking at several brands. Found a GE range, looked good. It has a flat ceramic top. Totally new (to me) way of cooking. It is quiet, efficient & easy to use. It is white so makes my kitchen brighter. I am looking forward to baking without having to constantly check my oven temp!!
