It works very good. The top is a bit hard to keep shiny, mostly because it is black but it is beautiful.

The range is nice looking; but, I have never had a range where the surface burners are so hot that things boil on their lowest setting, i.e. melt. Also, the oven temperature is not easy to regulate. I have to cancel the pre-heated temp to either turn it up or down. That becomes a time consuming maneuver.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy operation except for the timer. I think that is my inability to understand the manual rather than the stove's fault!
