Maintenance Headache

When it works, it is a decent printer. Be prepared for frequent paper jams and I am using quality paper designed for laser printing. Very disappointing. This printer will jam whether you are duplexing or printing single side. I will try to return this unit for another option.

Great product!

I purchased the HL-4150CDN for our church's use. We are a small church with a small home office. This thing prints great! The colors are bright and it prints very fast. I have printed over 2300 prints in the last few months and am just now replacing the black toner cartridge that came with the printer (will need to replace the color toner soon as well). I would highly recommend this product!

Not worth the money

After I ran through the first cartridges, I've had to replace twice within a month. The printer keeps saying that toner is low. This is for a home and we have not even passed the 1,000 page mark. I would rather consider this a purely disposable printer, do not waste your time or additional money on new cartridges.

Great printer

I have owned this printer for about a year now. I havn't had any problems with it for the most part. As for the other reviews about the cartage problem I can relate.... I refill my own cartages and I get them from on-line company. I had the same problem about the cartage saying it out of toner. After chatting with my supplier of tonner we ended up having to enter a rest code to get the print to rest. after that I have had no problems with it. Yes it takes a little effort to fill my own carage....but in the longrun.... a 70% savings....I will do it evey time.. Plus I am not threwing out a perfect cartage just because it is empty

GREAT printer! EXCELLENT value, and I LOVE Brother products, including their high end sewing machines and sergers! They sell industrial strength, affordable, and easily maintainable products!
In terms of details, this machine just does a GREAT job! Not sure what else to say!
What is the "almost" about? It's not about this machine in particular, but about the machines in the industry at large. Once again, I had to make a choice - wireless or dual print? I chose dual print. My assertion: I shouldn't have to make that choice. The prices jump up VERY SIGNIFICANTLY with both added, but not with just one or the other?? How is it that the price can be nearly the same with one or the other, and then be 300.00+ more expensive with both???
