This tablet was shipped very rapidly and I was able to immediately start up, and connect to my wireless. I downloaded several apps (VPN, Telnet, Kindle) and had those operating correctly (with very fast response!). I am impressed with the speed of this tablet, and with the added features not found on other tablets. A very nice keyboard, USB is functional, and I added memory cards to the provided slots.
Unit battery life seems to be as advertised, although I have not run it down to see if the 12 hour estimate is accurate, all indications point to a very good battery life.

My only negative point for this unit is its non-standard charging connection, it would have been nice to have been able to use one of my other chargers (USB or HP).
All in all, a very nice product.

I loved this after I pulled it out of the box and it hasn't been a disappointment yet!!! Works fast and does not mind Bluetooth separate keypad nor Bluetooth speakers. All works great and thanks to the NVIDIA TEGRA CPU it is handling life without a beep. Pricing might be a little high on some views but it depends on how you're planning on using it. Shipping was super fast without any complaints.

Great Product, but need some more directions

This is my first tablet. First off, the set up was really easy if you have used a Android product before. I was able to set up emails and pair with other devices no problems. But I wished it came with a User Guide like my phone did. Right now I am just pushing Icons and sometimes I am going no where. I would prefer the screen not to be so reflective. I could not use it outside. All I could see was myself. Loved the keyboard, it was easy to attach and de-attach.
Overall I am satisfied and would recommend to others, I am just waiting for some accessories to be available, a case to project it, something to lay over the screen so I can use it outside, etc.

Great with some minor annoyances

This is a great tablet however the screen is very hard to see in daylight and gets smudged up way more than average and occasionally smudges will start acting like they are presses on the screen - so the tablet starts going wacky acting like you are pressing it everywhere - which took me awhile to figure out. Overall though it is a fast and fun device and the battery and keyboard and ports alone are worth choosing this over any competitor.

I got this super early in the mail, and I was thrilled. I unboxed it and started it up, and it started up for the first time in about 30 seconds. Android 4.2.2 is awesome for a transformer tablet, everything is fluid and quick and so easy to manage. The Tegra 4 processor is great, too! The keyboard dock, while it may be a bit smaller than normal keyboards, feels great is is quite comfortable to type with. The gesture support with the trackpad is also wonderful. There are also a bunch of nice little short-cut keys on they keyboard for back, home, recent apps, brightness, and volume, allowing the device to act perfectly as a laptop without losing any of the functionality of the Android tablet. The only things that kind of worry me is I'm not sure if it has as much battery life as I had initially thought, but I really haven't run any tests, so that's not a huge problem as of now. One thing that is mildly concerning is sometimes when the keyboard base runs really low on battery, the tablet will seemingly shut itself on and won't turn on unless I detach the dock and hold the power button to turn it back on. Other than that, everything is great. Great for emulation, web surfing, taking notes, pictures, YouTube, Netflix, music playing. Good job HP. I'm impressed. I'd just like to see my worries somehow addressed.

I Really Love This Tablet/notebook , The Keyboard is great .I have a new HP 17" notebook I love it for home. But it's to big to carry around. This HP Slate Book 10x2 is the best thing ever to have.

A great Android tablet as a stand alone device - but then add in the base with a real keyboard and extra battery and it takes it to excellent. Highly recommended.

I picked this tablet because I like HP products and I didn't want to get a high end tablet. Don't misunderstand, I do like this tablet a lot I am new to working with a tablet and i'm pleasantly surprisedd at how much I can accomplish with it. However I would like to be able to connect a USB device, such as a DVD player...I'm still learning how to do some of these things with the tablet.
