Great replacement for my old 36" Sony crt

Easy set-up, great super sharp picture using my over the air antenna, excellent sound from optical sound bar. Now, if only they had included a sub-woofer for my music videos, it would have been a perfect package.

This was a major purchase for me. I have confidence in LG products and was not disappointed. Set up was easy and the picture is excellent. I love it.

Great Picture & Set up However....

I love this TV, the picture quality is great (probably the best I have ever seen) and the accessibility and set up of the the Apps for the Smart TV portion are great however I didn't rate it 5 stars because you have to purchase the wifi dongle separately to access the internet. This was very disappointing to learn we had to purchase additional equipment to get our TV to access the internet even though it says that it is wifi ready. Other than that, it was super simple to put the base on and set up. And the picture is amazing.

Great picture, but skimped on details

Although this TV's picture is great, I was disappointed with some of the details that were left out. Although it is a smart TV, a Wi-Fi connection required the purchase of an optional USB dongle. (My other LG smart TV has WiFi built in.) The set's audio is pretty bad. Although it came packaged with a soundbar, the soundbar did not include a subwoofer. The result is pretty tinny sound, with or without the soundbar. (My other LG has excellent sound, even without external speakers.) To get acceptable sound, I had to connect it through an external stereo system.
Bottom line is that although it is a good TV, I expected more for my money.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, mediocre audio

Love the TV, but somewhat disappointed

The over all quality lives up to what I expected, though I am disappointed in that I don't seem to get the advertized 120hz trumotion picture is blurry during action scenes and sports.
The Remote is somewhat hard to use as the location of some buttons interfere with others and are in difficult to reach positions. ie the smart button is just above the up arrow key, go that I am constantly pressing it when i want ti go up. Remote fails to work in web mode, or could use a better web application.

Excellent color, contrast, and refresh rate

My new tv has excellent color, clarity and definition. The refresh rate is high so there is no flicker at all! Did I mention the color is rich and bright even in bright light coditions? I am very pleased that the LG is greatly superior to my previous hdtv!

Great TV for the money

I'm very happy with this TV. It is replacing an LG plasma. It has a more vibrant picture. The detail is awesome. The sound is good even without the sound bar. It is a very good value - comparable to some sets that were much more than this one.
