This printer is really good. It does everything, so you don't need to buy separate hardware, it also has the added bonus of being wireless.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Photo operation not good

Unfortunately I have found that the printing of photos onto photo paper is rather hit and miss. The paper jams up on 5x7 paper most times and the 6x4 paper on numerous occasions.
I found a web site that gave solutions which also intimated that this was a common ocurance with this printer!
Although I have had a replacement (refurbished) printer sent from HP, it still does not print 100% when printing photos on to printer paper.
Its a shame as all other workings are ok.

Worst mistake ever!

I bought one of these printers and found it was faulty straight out of the box. It even had the wrong power supply in the box and it was still factory sealed. Then customer service sent the wrong replacement printer. It has taken weeks to supply the right one. I have had HP printers for over 20 years, but I won't ever buy another. As even the new one sent to me has problems with the picture on the display breaking up whilst printing...... You would have thought they would check the replacement works properly prior to sending it out?

READ CAREFULLY

This is the best printer I have ever bought. However, I was not getting the results hoped for until I realised that if I used HP paper rather then the cheaper options available I became more than satisfied. Go to 'preferences' and select type of paper - if it is not there read the packaging that came with the paper. It will tell you what setting to use. The HP, shop is quite expensive but if you shop around it is surprising what 'deals' you can get.

Easy to set up. Great for home use or a small buiness user. Ink cartridges don't last ages, but which ones do?? Print quality is good and it's fast. Other reviewers have complained about the noise of it, but I have it in another room and am quite happy to hear it is printing! It isn't that noisy even in the same room have had HP before and it isn't any noisier! The wireless function is so useful and everything else is clear to use even for the non computer friendly!

HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer - B210a

I recently purchased the HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer - B210a. As far as i am concerned it as and excellent printer. I was really happy with the fact the you can e-mail a file or photo to it from anywhere in the world. I tested this by getting a photo sent from America to the U.K.
My only problem that arose was the fact the when you set it up it is automatically set to only print on normal paper, not photographic. I looked for some information on how to rectify this, but none was found on the HP website. I eventually came across a forum. Let me talk you through this incase any one else has the same issue as i did.
In the start menu on your PC type in printers and devices. Right click on your printer, Select "PRINTER PROPERTIES". Go to the Device settings tab in the window that opened. Click on the plus sign at the top left. And also select Photo Tray 4x6in. (inches) or whatever is appropriate for te size of photo paper that you are using. Then click apply, then ok.
Your issue should then be resolved.

Really pleased with the photosmart B210 really easy to set up quality is great as well as is the machines versatility. Only negative is the cost of ink which doesn't seem to last as long as others but as I said this is minor.
