Another reliable HP printer

I purchased the B210a following an earlier purchase of it's predecessor the B109a.
Although equally reliable in it's performance. I was disappointed to find that HP had downsized the specification. Features from the B109a had been removed so that there was no longer any on-board Optical Character Recognition software and the printing options had been reduced.ie. it will no longer perform poster printing as it's predecessor used to.
This said, if all you require is a reliable basic photosmart printer with borderless capabilities, on-board card reader and wi-fi operation with e-printing then you need look no further. It has to be added that HP did come up with a workaround to the OCR software which is satisfactory.

Duff printer

I bought this printer and had to return it within a week since it failed. It was sent away for repair but failed to come back promptly so Staples upgraded me to an HP Premium printer which works fine BUT why oh why do printing cartridges last such a short time and cost so much?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's OK but could be better

This all in one printer is OK, but it could be better. When Scanning - if you are using the screen on the printer and press scan to computer it wants you to do this from the computer not from the printer. The ink cartridges can not be recycled easily, there are not an in-demand cartridge. Do you need double sided printing? If so this in not the model for you. It can be slow to start up so I tend to leave it on all the time in economy mode - If it started up quicker and connected to my wireless network quickly I would turn it off and on when I needed it. Over all it is a good all in one printer, it does print (single sided) & photos, it scans well but you do have to jump between your computer and the scanner, it copies well. If you are not printing a lot, frequently then I'd say this is a good choice, I would just like the ink cartridges to be more readily recycled.

Reliable. Great to use wi fi from anywhere in the house. Scan & photocopier used to the max. It's truly a mini office by itself. I love it

HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer

A Wireless printer which is easy to set up by following the on screen instructions. A manual and CD is also supplied. A USB cable is not supplied. I have printed Flight Tickets and a Hotel Reservation and the colours are exactly the same as the computer screen. The quality of Photographs are as good as any professional service. Able to print in another room away from the computer. HP can be relied upon to provide an excellent Customer Support service.
I would recommend this to a friend!
