In general, I love Otterbox and buy them for all the phones in my family. However, I just purchased one for our retail tablet at work and was disappointed that it is not compatible with the Square reader. Otterbox should offer a model where a larger area of the jack corner is removable to accommodate the size of the reader.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is OtterBox! This case is recent in a long line of purchases dating back 10 plus years. I first bought a case for my Gen 1 IPOD to protect my device during deployment to a sandy region of the world. It survived....that Otterbox case in great shape - The Ipod, well, not so much.
If you have a device you want to keep safe, buy an Otterbox. It is truly that simply!

I used many cases before Otterbox, my iPad mini fell twice and the screen broke and I had to change it. Ever since I got Otterbox, that never happened even though my iPad fell uncountable times. The only problem is I got the pink one and it turned to black-ish by time. However, I took it off the iPad and kept only the Defender Shell. It's been two years and my iPad is protected only using the Defender Shell. It's awesome and if I can buy the Defender Shell by itself it would be great, mine is getting old after three years of use!

I have a 2 year old and need serious protection from slapping, dropping, tossing, being smashed with blocks, drool, etc.
So far this case has been perfect, kept my iPad safe and no damage to the case either. Totally recommend!
It's a bit pricey, but less than 1/4 the cost of having the glass replaced!

I've only had it for a few weeks and so far its doing its job. My brother has the same model for the ipad air and he recommended it. It was a little confusing to put together but I found a video. its also a little hard to snap out of the case to flip it around, I figure I just have to get used to it.
