We cook for just the two of us, so we wanted a 1 quart saucepan, and this set was the only Calphalon set that had that. This cookware looks great and the nonstick is the best I have used. I can fry an egg with no oil in the pan and it slides easily, and easy to clean. The handles are very comfortable and don't get hot; however the handles to the lids can get quite warm with extended cooking.

So far, these pans have been great! True to the instructions they came with, they require minimal heat to get nice and evenly hot, they are a breeze to care for since they are dishwasher safe, and I'm pleased with how the non-stick coating works. I can't get away with making scrambled eggs without some still sticking, but it all quickly washes off after letting the pans cool down, so it's not a huge issue. They are a major improvement over the ceramic set I had before and I'm trying to follow all the care instructions to the letter to make sure they stand the test of time.

Nice set but frying pans are too small for my needs. I purchased separately a 5 qt saute pan, which warped the first time I used it. The pieces in the original set have been great and have not warped. Easy to clean. Well made.
