Amazing tablet

After using a certain budget tablet with Ice cream Sandwich for a year, Iv'e decided to upgrade to this Samsung tablet with Jellybean and in my favorite color.
The default browser is very quick and browsing the net on this tablet is just as fast as browsing on my Samsung laptop that has a quadcore processor and 4GB or RAM.
Youtube videos play very well even in high quality mode, compared to my previous budget tablet that would freeze up while playing videos in high quality mode...
The Screen is crystal clear , and the 2 speakers sound good. Camera works great... There is no distortion at all while using headphones. It connects to my Wi-Fi network with ease and I have not dropped the signal yet. One other feature I like is that you can still get sound notifications while the tablet is on lock mode.
It comes with a nice magnetic case which protects the tablet from everyday use. Combining the quality of Samsung with the top mobile operating system (Android), an affordable price and you get an awesome tablet.

The box may say Garnet, but its "Ruby" Red to me

This is a beautiful tablet. I got a real deal on the bundle (tablet and cover plus free shipping), I was willing to pay more just to have it in red. Its lightweight, feels solid in my hands and is very responsive. I'm still getting used to Android so I really didn't want to sink a lot of money into something I wasn't too sure about. I needn't have worried, it was up and running right out of the box! I'm so happy with this tablet and it came just in time for my July birthday (hence the "Ruby Red"). This is one of the nicest tablets out there, and I've been shopping for a while. The only problem is the battery runs down very quick. Other than having to recharge it every 4 or 5 hours, its a killer tablet.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: battery life too short
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my Samsung Galaxy Tablet it works wells does not freeze, small enough for me to carry around in my bag. It had a little weight on it and it does get hot on back so you need a case for it. The screen very bright enough, you can change the settings if you like. Music sound very clear and loud, Video looks great and clear.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, excellent sound, very clear videos
Cons: gets very hot at back, does has a little weight to it.

This is a wonderful device i think it should have a setting that when you use a bluetooth keyboard that the touch keyboard should not be present. The touch keyboard should be closed automatically .

Loved my Tab 2 until...

I received my Tab 2 in garnet red about a month ago. I was very happy with it and it is so pretty in red. ;) Now I am simply frustrated.
I live in the country and get my internet via 3G (hoping 4G will expand into my area soon!) I did some checking around and discovered the VUDU will allow you to download purchased video. This way I can download to my Tab 2 at work where I have real internet and watch at home, right? Not so much. Yes, I can watch at home if it is just me and my 7" GT2, but there is NO VIDEO OUT on this device. Even the Samsung HDMI & RCA adapters do not work with the Galaxy Tab 2. I am hoping and praying that in some future upgrade they will add this capability since I'm stuck with this tablet for probably the next 2 years, but I suspect that the hardware is not capable.
This is my second tablet and I wish I could go back. My previous tablet (now 2 years old) had an HDMI out and cost less than this one. I would trade my daughter for my old one if I didn't need access to the Android Market for my job. *sigh* Live and learn.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight, available in colors
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no video out capability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Longer Works

The battery will not hold a charge after having it for eight months. It plays ads on it, even when not connected to the internet. I worked hard to be able to buy a tablet, and I might as well just thrown that money in the trash. Since I let my mom borrow this for a few months, no one can remember the password and it will not accept my Samsung Account information even though it is correct.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: horrible battery, has a lot of issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
