Beautiful oven that matches other GE appliances in appearance

Electric Oven...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm used the new gas ovens. We bought our brand new house least then a year and it came with this oven. It takes 40 minutes to an hour to heat up. TERRIBLE! You have to turn your oven up 20 degrees to make it like a normal oven. I'm always having to check to see if the dish is ready or not. Usually it would take almost an hour more for it to be ready then regular ovens. This oven saves you time in easy cleaning, but not cooking time and uses a lot of electricity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is nice looking, cooks evenly and is easy to use. My only complaint is it gets really warm and so that makes my kitchen heat up. I don't have much to compare it to since I replaced a 30 yr old model, though!

Great upgrade to stainless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded older GE Profile with this new stainless steel product. Like the convection cooking. User interface is intuitive and easy to use. Installed myself - almost a drop-in for the old one - some minor cabinet mods were required. I paired this with the GE Profile built-in microwave for a nice coordinated style. The GE products are a great value compared to other brands.

This product is an excellent product overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product with all the features you could need for a single oven. The only thing that we found to be negative was a little difficulty in learning to work some of the features, The timers cut the oven off rather than just letting us know time was up and the oven had to be reset. We were experimenting with conventional cooking and trying to learn the differences. The manual was a little short on clarity. Once we figured it all out, it was a breeze. The oven looks wonderful and is very easy to keep clean. The racks make getting things in and out so easy & safe. One thing we had heard was that pre-heat took longer than usual but we did find that to be significant. Oven cooks extremely evenly and makes the best cookies. Would recommend this oven anytime.
