Oven has a great appearance and a lot of useful features.

The hidden bake coils are a marvel and makes cleaning a breeze. The slide out rack makes entering and removing items very easy. It has quick preheat time but the cool down cycle seems to run long. The controls are easy to read and use. The dimensions were exacly as advertised and fit perfectly in the opening that was available which was good since I didn't want to do any carpenter work to make it fit. Even though we have had the product for only 2 months I think we have made a very good choice.

Love the Convection Option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since baking is my hobby, I was thrilled to have an upper convection oven. Little did I know that the roasting under convection would be time saving and make the meats come out juicier.
The GE double oven works wonderfully. My old GE double oven lasted over 35 years! This new one has a sleek and updated look. My favorite feature is the roll out rack. Great for heavier dishes.

It fits my space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to find an oven which would fit into an existing brick wall space. My new GE not only fits, but looks very smart. And the longer I use it, the better I like it. The temperatures are true, it bakes and broils extremely well, it helps me with the time and temp reminders, it lets me know when the cooking is done. I am extremely pleased with my ovens although I had some fear of replacing my old 29 year old friends. I hope these new ones last that long!

Not impressed with the plastic handles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went shopping for new double ovens and kept in mind that I must first get something that somewhat matched my already existing refrigerator and dishwasher. That narrowed my search quite a bit. The salesman recommended this GE Profile in black to match my frig and dishwasher. They didn't have it on the floor to look at in black but I purchased it anyway. I was displeased with the 2 handles on these ovens. They are made of plastic which make them kind of a dull black color compared to the high quality shiny black handles on my refrigerator and dishwasher and cheapen the overall look of the ovens. Otherwise, I like the ovens....but I have only had them for a week. The first thing I baked, I questioned whether the thermostat was set correctly because the crust didn't brown like it usually did in my old ovens when I made this same recipe. I have baked a couple cakes and they seemed to bake okay. I used the temperature probe on a turkey breast and think I need to up the final temp from the recommended temp for use with the prob on fowl because the turkey wasn't quite done. Yuck! I guess new ovens take time to get used to but I kind of miss my old Thermadors. Oh, also, the racks don't smoothly slide in and out. I had to really pull to get one out which in turn, scratched the side of the oven. :(

1) Convection available in only one unit
2) Sabbath mode very complicated to use. Should have one button to engage. Can only have one oven at a time on full Sabbath mode.
3) Surface area very hard to clean, since fingerprints show up every time you push buttons, and when you clean you turn something on.
4) Temperature very accurate
5) Oven is very attractive

Very good oven. difficult to set "sabbath mode", can only set for one oven, not both, can only clean one oven at a time and then cannot use other oven.
