Bought this two months ago and did not work out of the box. Have been without a functional stove now for 2 months. When a replacement stove finally arrived it was damaged. So you send out more junk. I replaced a functioning stove with this junk.Do negative numbers apply. Then you are a negative 100. Never will be Whirlpool products again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Okay but pricy

This stove replaced a drop in - so it sticks out 3" past the counter top edge, which I don't particularly like but can live with. It cooks well on the burners; baking takes 5-10 minutes longer than my previous stove. I find the black enamel top incredibly difficult to keep smear free. It takes hot, soapy water, a hot rinse, and then 2 paper towels to dry and I still get some smears. I did not realize that this stove had a black top. I much preferred the stainless top on my previous stove. I wanted the larger oven with many rack positions for large family parties, but it comes with only 2 racks, so it doesn't really hold more. I haven't needed the cleaning cycle yet, but it sounds very promising and easy.

Whirlpool Oven

After doing much research on what brand of oven to purchase, I finally chose a Whirlpool, and so far, I haven't been disappointed.It's easy to operate and the rapid preheat allows the oven to heat up quickly. The seal around the oven door ensures that the heat remains inside. I also like the fact that it has two large burners on top which my old oven did not have.I really love my new oven and since purchasing it, I have been a doing a lot more cooking!

The range is almost all we expected. The stove is stable and heats quickly. The oven is large and the various settings are useful. This product is easy to use; however, the self-cleaning feature does not clean very well and requires several cycles to make it possible to finish cleaning by hand.

Pleased with my purchase

My 13 year old slide-in Frigidaire range unexpectedly died. With little time to research I set out to find the best appliances for the budget we had set. We decided to replace all of the appliances with new ones, because I like kitchen appliances to match, and selling the others online is so easy nowadays. I remember what my appliance repair man had said about Whirlpool appliances being reliable and started there. I had been so pleased with the purchased of the Whirlpool Cabrio washer/dryer a few years ago, that it sounded like a reasonable place to start. I liked what I saw online, so went to a local appliance shop to get a better look and ended up leaving an hour later with all new appliances. This Whirlpool slide-in range is easy to operate, professional looking, and quite frankly, the 'frozen bake' option make me giddy every time I use it. I like the large professional knobs a lot too. I haven't had to use the steam technology to clean my oven yet, but I am looking forward to it. I couldn't be happier with my kitchen full of matching Whirlpool appliances. Great features, great looks, and great value.

Exact fit

This is one of the very few ranges that fit exactly into the space where our old range was sitting. We had a width of 29 7/8 inches to fill and this range was a perfect fit and I didn't have alter thecabinets at all. Most ranges are advertised as 30 inch ranges. They are anything but 30 inches. We are very happy with this range.
