this range is gorgeous! we have put in light alder wood cabinets and the range and new (whirlpool) hood look beyond GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mind you, I'm no great cook. I plan to eventually replace the burners on this appliance with smart burners that are also easier to clean and WILL NOT START COOKING FIRES (because I'm a doofus cook & getting older every day.). I replaced a really old range with a warped top surface. I did not want a flat surface range because I like my old pots & pans & do not want to replace them.

Range works very well. BUT the racks rattle when you walk by. Very annoying! Had to rearrange them a few time and had to have the curved rack on the top rather than the bottom for the rattling to stop. I use the top more often and now this gives me less room for cooking more than one item. For the cost of the range I would have expected higher quality in something like racks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The look of this range is great. It is fairly easy to use and the oven works well. The range top is attractive, but the shiny black top on the stainless steel model is hard to keep from looking "smeary". Also, items in the storage drawer get VERY hot when you use the oven. Not enough insulation in the oven bottom?

Bought this a month ago upon moving into my new home. I've found it easy to use with consistent and accurate heating. The large oven has already come in handy allowing us to put something else in with our dutch oven.

More than good

It's not easy to find a coil top these days. The stove is thoughtfully designed, heats twice as fast and much hotter than our old one, and seems well made.
