Best Microwave ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read some old reviews from 2002-2003 reporting problems with the door handle coming off. The problem seems to be fixed. The door handle on my Janurary 2013 oven seems to be well made and secure.
Oven works great. Using Microwave and convection for cooking pizza makes for a better crust.
Cooked ribs, pork roast and chicken using the Speedcook Technology and they came out great. Really did not notice a 4x decrease in cooking time as claimed by GE.
I wish this oven came with a ribbed metal cooking tray like the 240 oven. I looked into buying the metal ribbed cooking tray, unfortunately the ribbed metal cooking tray in the 240 over is larger than this oven so it will not fit in this oven.

Best Multi Use Oven Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know why we didn't get this oven 20 years ago when we were building our house. Our counter top microwave died and I wanted to replace it with one that had convection cooking. I found out the microwaves don't use a true convection method of cooking food. That's when I found the GE Profile Advantium. I love this oven!! It microwaves, it convection cooks, it bakes, it speed cooks, it defrosts chicken beautifully!!
I never use my regular oven anymore. It has become a storage space for my cookie sheets. LOL!
I would recommend this to a friend!

For two people it's the ideal speed cook oven, convection oven & microwave in one. I don't even use my large stove oven anymore that drives up the electricity bill. The GE Advantium is a fantastic product that I enjoy using. I find that I cook and bake more, knowing that I'm using an energy-efficient product. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We desperately needed a second oven, but did not have the room, so we opted for the Advantium Over The Range to save space. What an excellent product! We are able to bake, broil, brown and microwave easily and efficiently. The Convection Bake works just as well as our full size range underneath it, without heating up the entire kitchen, and with a much shorter preheat time. The toast function isn't as great as a toaster oven, but we actually use the included racks and Convection Bake setting to evenly toast bread instead of the toast setting. In addition, the fan is quiet and efficient at removing smoke and odors while we're cooking. The dial controls makes it super easy to use all of the baking and microwave options as well. Love this appliance!
