I was looking for a shorter range camera, to mount over the front door of the house. This particular one fit the bill nicely. The way it angles down, I get a very nice picture of whoever is at my door. The one drawback is that it has to point down at the ground, so this is nothing to see, when no one is there. I have other cameras mounted to cover those areas though.
Overall, I am very pleased with Night Owl equipment.
I would like to see a larger variety of choices in cameras, such as various fields of view, better distance options, these types of things.
For home security in the city, these work GREAT!!!
There was a recent incident in the neighborhood, and a few neighbors wanted to see the footage, they were all impressed with the quality and clarity, that at least two of them are interested in purchasing Night Owl systems.
