E-Mail Problem
on January 17, 2011
Posted by: Jackson

I've just had the Optimus S for a couple of weeks. My carrier is Spring. The g-mail works great and my comcast e-mail works great. I consult for two separate companies and when establishing their e-mail accounts I can receive and send e-mails fine but something (??) times out and they disappear from the inbox/outbox folders in about 30 minutes. There appears to be no setting in the account that allows you to specify how long to retain messages; so there must be a default setting on the phone that is eliminating these messages in a short period of time. Obviously if this can't be fixed it's a deal breaker as there's little use for a phone that won't hang onto the mail. Has anyone else seen this problem?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love, Love, Love this Phone!

I've never been happier with any phone I've purchased in the past. I'm tech-happy so I've had quite a few. This phone conserves power well (all of this is with the right apps, of course), it is extremely responsive, has ever feature I could want and really has not had any problems at all in the 3 months I've owned it. Heavy daily use, too!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is awesome especially for the money! Super easy to use and navigate! Had almost a year now with no problems! Thinking of upgrading to the next generation in it's class, the LG Marquee! Life is Good when you have a phone like this! Keep up the good work LG!

I've owned a phone that I didn't like, and now I do.
This was the single worst product I bought in all of 2011. I used to have an LG Lotus and I should've kept it.

Awesome phone but no flashplayer capability
on June 22, 2011

I wouldn't trade my phone for anything. It's easy to use, durable, even patient..LOL..Let's me know when I need to fix or update or get rid of stuff and even helps with that. But I have come across many apps that I would love to have that require Flashplayer and my Android does not have the capability to get it...which makes me sad. So if we can fix this problem this would be the best phone ever.....
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, durablity, user interface friendly
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adobe Flash Not Available for this model
on July 28, 2011
Posted by: lotusblossom5
I have spent over an hour trying to find out why I can't download Adobe FlashPlayer. Finally I went to the Adobe site and found out that only TWO LG phones are "certified" to receive it.
What?! Adobe Flash is ubiquitous. There should not even be a question as to whether or not it is available.
Once my contract is over, I am probably going to go back to an iPhone. Much easier to use and I've never had a problem. The ONLY reason that I went to an android is because you can get to the battery without voiding the warrantee.
