I have had this phone for alittle over a year. replaced it once because it wouldn't take a charge. now with out the Android 2.3 upgrade again this phone freezes and randomly restarts. as of today it is acting up and doesn't want to charge again. I have had three LG phones and won't do it again. figured at some point they would get it right. Other products are good just not the phones.

This phone performs like a high cost Android but is a mid-range in price. If your on Sprint and want a great start to Android, get the Optimus S.
Pros: Performance, Quality

I've had this phone for a little over a year now and not one problem with it. Even after its been submerged in water and dropped countless times! Maybe I have had good luck with this phone, but I still recommend this to anyone who drops or bangs their phone up quite a bit.
Pros: easy to use, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a bad phone in theory - makes calls, texts, has a lot of apps to choose from etc. But the keyboard is incredibly fidgety, and it constantly tells me I have no space, despite having a near empty SD card (and my mother and brother had the same issues with this phone as well), making it basically unusable.
All around a very annoying phone to use. But it does do what I truly need it to do, which is make calls and texts, although in a very fidgety manner.

I got this phone only a few days ago but i already think im going to hate it. It is really hard to text on because if i try to type a word like "for" it comes out as ffoorr. It is also giving me a hard time at managing my apps. i cannot delete any because if i press down it opens them instead of moving them. It may be a cool and attractive looking smartphone but i would not recommend it for people with little tolerance for company errors.
Pros: Style/Design, good at first

I love this phone!

My phone has great battery life, the battery lasts a day and a half to two days. To people who are having problems with it, I would suggest getting the "power control" widget and putting it on your homepage, that was all I needed to help with battery drain, but if that still doesn't help you can also get the "advanced task killer" app. This was my first Droid phone, and I've had it for a year. Now I'm starting to really, really hate it, because it's so old and slow (when it was new, it was definitely fast enough for me and was really really nice, and it did stay that way for a while). Another complaint I would have is the memory (or lack thereof). While you can move apps, pictures, etc to the SD card, there are some things you can't move (texts, voicemails, and some apps) and even when you move an app over to the SD card, it still takes up some memory on your phone. This can be a hassle as your phone gets older and you have more and more things on it you want to keep. I have exactly one game app on my phone, and that's solitaire. I don't have room for anything else. And when I use the keyboard and misspell a word the same way multiple times, it ends up being added to my dictionary and is no longer corrected automatically, and while I could delete it from my dictionary (so that my phone doesn't correct things I type to "upu" or "yiy") if I type those things by mistake again, they're put back into my dictionary. But all of my complaints have arisen from my phone just getting really old. If I'd gotten my phone brand new in the first place, I imagine it would have lasted much longer. It really is good, and I like it. I'd recommend it to anyone. It just doesn't age well. It's the only Droid I've ever had, but my mom has had a couple and I've hated them all without exception, except for my phone. I love my phone. I would get another one like it, but I need to replace my iPod touch as well, so I'm probably going to switch to iPhone for the sake of saving $200. But it's still holding out pretty well so I'll probably wait a couple of months.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this product for a good 2 years and like many, looking forward to my upgrade. I believe that this is a good starter hone for a child. 2 years ago this phone competed with many but now is left in the dust. I like it before it received its 2.3 gingerbread update. Once it received that is started to lag, but still kept. After so long you can start to feel the age of the phone and realize that new one is needed. You should not keep this phone for more th two years. Its okay has many features but again cant compete. The lack of specs make it not able to play/download certain apps or even watch/purchase movie in the play store. Lots of Pros ad cons.
