Best camera phone to buy

I bought this phone just days after its release. I'd have to say I was blown away by the quality of photos this thing can produce. I went to the canyon the next day when the storm stopped. Caught the waterfalls in full effect, and the black hills and all their glory. The phone uses similar hardware that the 920 uses but an additional 1gb of ram added to the mix, which definitely helps with the massive photos you can take and work with. The extra ram also helps smooth out game play on the device as well. I wish they would have integrated the wireless charging into the device rather than having a cover to produce the desired effect. Overall the device is just as snappy as the 920 if not snappier when using multiple apps at once. With the 41 megapixel camera, the extra ram, a thinner body than some other Lumia phones what's not to love about this thing.

Amazing Camera, Ok Phone BUT NO WIRELESS CHARGING

I don't really know why they have it under the wireless charging filter because it does not have that without the case. Camera is unmatched, apps constantly update and operating system is reliable.

I had an iPhone for the last 6 years and I wanted something different. I wanted a windows phone to made the ease of office products to transfer, which it did. I was warned that it didn't have many apps available, I didn't think this would be much of an issue since I use it mostly for work. I can't believe how few apps it has and is removing. For example bank of America and chase in a few months will not have the app any longer and there I no app for Nest or Lyve or Dropcam, essential products for the house. This really frustrates me.

Good Phone But Lacks a Fast Camera

I really love Windows Phone and when the Lumia 1020 came out it was ground breaking even compared to Android and iPhone. It did have major flaws though...one the screen size is too small, especially for being a phone meant to take and see pictures. It also needed a 1080p display because of this. Also this problem plagues every Windows Phone, but it was worse with the 1020. The camera shutter speed takes seconds to take a picture. Whats the point of having a good camera if I can't capture the moments I want. All mid-high range Android and iPhone take a photo almost instantly...all Windows Phones take at least 1-2 seconds.

Ok but not great

I dont find that picture quality is any better than other types of phone cameras. Photo apps are too complicated to use and opening the camera takes a long time to load. Auto focus is not very good at all. If I'm taking a snap of anything that has text, the image is ALWAYS blurred no matter how many times I make adjustments to focus.
