LOVE my 1020

The phone itself is amazing, especially the camera. Phone connectivity great, Bluetooth & NFC same. GPS is a serious battery draw but generally battery life is good at ~36hrs. Windows App Store needs to increase the number of apps, but that's not the phones problem.

NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS CAMERA 41 MP!

I miss this phone I really wish they were still making it nothing compares to the quality of this 41 megapixel camera besides all the other great features of animation in photos the fact that this phone shoots images in complete darkness and makes them as if they were shot during the day is mind blowing. My phone did overheat & shut down many times & finally died. I am sick trying to live without it because I absolutely loved the camera & I love the tiles. They tried to make this phone in Android , but it didn't take off I like that thete are more apps in Android, Still w/all the bugs I really really miss this phone. Hands down my favorite phone ever.

Solid phone, incredible camera!

I have had this phone since the first week it was available from AT&T and it has worked flawlessly since then. The camera is just amazing. It's aging and I have been due for an upgrade for 5 months now but until there is a Lumia 1030 (or whatever it will be called) there is nothing for me to upgrade TO! Once you've gotten used to the 41 megapixel camera there's no way to downgrade to one with fewer than that. We're ready for the 1030, Microsoft!!

A great camera with a darn nice phone attached

I recently went to Iceland on a late fall vacation. I brought a bunch of high-end camera gear and used my Nokia the most. The results were AMAZING. Indeed, that 41-megapixel chip produced images that I was happy to blow up to 24x36 canvas prints that now grace my office. Stunning camera ... that's also a phone.

Great camera but missing a more robust shutter delay

Really like the camera. On my wish list is a more robust shutter delay. The one setting doesn't give you time to get in front of the camera...hate family pictures with one member missing (holding the camera)

Fantastic Phone

I got my 1020 in July of 2014. It has more than met my expectations. As far as apps go, how many are needed? I have 140 apps downloaded and I use around 10 of them regularly. I wouldn't trade my 1020 for any other phone unless an upgraded version comes out. I hope Microsoft has plans to come out with a higher end Lumia in the future as Nokia really made huge strides with there higher end devices. It would be a shame if this wasn't continued and yes I'm mentioning the camera also here. Keep the innovation going Microsoft.

Very happy with my lumia 1020, battery goes on for 2 days compared to a single day with my previous iPhone 5.
Camera is in a league of it's own.
This being my first windows phone i'm also amazed at the ease of use in this OS, even my grandma instantly knew how to make calls and send messages. this saying a lot..
