I Love the Lumia 1020, always been a fan of phones with good camera. However the phone is outdated, needs to be updated spec wise and we need a memory card slot.

Two years in and still the best Camera Phone on the market (apart from Battery life)

Absolutely love this phone and will find it hard to upgrade now that its coming to its EOL. So only going to mention the things that the next version must have and in my opinion should have been included from the get go. 1. Battery needs to be much higher capacity similar to the 1520 3400mAh. Wireless Charging MUST be included in-build without cover. That is really all as loved everything else about the phone. Can't wait for V2 please make it so ASAP!!

The Lumia 1020: Kudos to King of Smartphone Cameras!

I got my first camera at the age of 7, and my first phone-camera another 7 years after. Those were the days when I had to make the most out of a 320x240 pixel and then a 640x480 pixel camera. Years passed and camera phones got "better" with their 5MP cameras. But, just when I thought my 5MP camera could do wonders, Nokia announced the whopping 41MP camera. Unbelievable, but the video demonstrations simply struck me with awe! The camera allowed me to take photos I never imagined I could do with a smart phone - from low light, long exposure times, Xenon-flash trick shots... the list just goes on and on! And the best part of it all - it's on Windows Phone 8 #now upgraded to 8.1#!
Now over a year since it's release, it still reigns as the King of Smartphone Cameras - highly recommended both for amateur and for pro photographers alike!

Best phone I've ever owned

I can't see myself moving out of my 1020 any time soon. It is the perfect size, shape and feel. The design is kin to other Nokia devices that are notorious for being indestructible. Together with the latest update to the Windows Phone Operating system, I feel as though the phone continues to renew itself via updates. I run a small construction company with 80 employees and use my 1020 as my one and only phone for business and personal use. I love how stable the OS is. Throughout the day, under normal daily usage, it's not uncommon to jump in and out of the phone setting appointments, texting, calling, emailing, checking calendar, getting driving directions and checking weather virtually at the same time. This phone and the OS keep up and never let me down. There are no freezes, reboots or lag like in other platforms. Even Cortana brings a level of fun while truly being useful. I gave my father a Lumia knowing that the operating systems ease of use would be fine, even for a Technically Challenged person. I was so surprised to see him using advanced features of the phone with ease. It was amazing to see how the device transformed his life and connected him to the world. I'm a huge fan of what Microsoft has done here and I know you will be too.

used to be top smartphone with WP8 but, WP8.1 made it only an average phone.

since WP8.1 wireless charging never worked with my CR-200. it also reloads start page very often while only scrolling. Night photos are very poor, even with this awesome camera. Please fix this points.

Good product, but camera a little slow

Its a good phone, but access the cam and take a pic its toooooo slow. Think the camera could be a litle speedier.
I guess should be develop a lock screen, its to block any modifications on the main screen (tiles)

A camera with a phone

The camera on this phone is the best on the market. Even after 18 months since its debut no phone in the market takes as high quality photos as the Lumia 1020.
When at family events or just out with friends, I am always asked to take the pictures with my phone. IPhone 6 users in my family have me take the pictures because this phone is that good.
Other than the camera the user interface is easy to use. The phone is a high quality build. I dropped it off the fire truck while at work and only a small scratch when it landed on the screen in cement. Unbelievable quality in its build.
Windows Phone 8 is unbelievably efficient. My battery lasts up to 36 hours on a single charge.
The apps from Microsoft and Nokia are incredibly useful and the built in Microsoft Office works seamlessly with Office 365. The unlimited one drive storage means I will never lose another picture again. I highly recommend this phone or any Windows Phone. They are the best phones out there. Thank you for making such a great product Microsoft/Nokia
