I choose windows above & beyond. @ the beginning of using windows phone it seemed as though I had never used any other product. Learned the system so easy & naturally. Have compared & no other comes close to my likes.

My Nokia Phone

I like the phone because it looks elegant and feels good in my hands, the 41mp camera takes great images and video. The phone is easy to set up and customize though I do miss some of the functionality of Android phones and some of the apps I had on it that are not yet available to Windows OS phones, it is not that important to me. I also like it because if I take pictures and or video and save it to the cloud all I have to do is to log into my Windows 8.1 tablet and everything syncs quickly from one device to the other. I only wish that the phone was more stable, it does freeze sometimes and I have to reboot the phone but it is a great phone.

I wanted the Lumia 1020 from the first time I saw it . I bought it for the camera and I love it . I wish it had a 24x zoom lens on it. I'd love to know why I don't have wireless charging or CORTANA on it yet though.

Okay let's be honest, everyone purchases this phone for the camera. The camera cannot be compared to any other smart phone camera, or most other cameras period. Besides that this phone is so easy to use, plenty of features while seamlessly ability to sync with office etc. Making an invaluable tool as well. Might I add also Cortana is simply amazing!!! You see Google claiming to be better than apples Siri and vice versa, but not Cortana. Dimly because Cortana is light years ahead of both. I also love the addition of the swipe type texting with 8.1 update. Great job Nokia, and Microsoft!

Interconnectivity with PC, Photography,

I bought the phone for the camera, but have been most impressed with the automatic transfer of Outlook data to the phone with just the Microsoft login. The Office functionality is also pretty amazing. Overall phone quality is also very nice, and camera grip works well for Kindle reading as well as photography.

I'm a nature photographer, but sometimes you just want to take snapshots of family or places you go, without taking the time to be "artistic." The phone on this camera is so good that I've quit carrying my point and shoot altogether. On top of that, I love the voice texting, the feel of the phone in my hand, and the way it's all interconnected.

i have used many phones over they years, i was a first adopter. i have to say, the 1020 is supurb. the camera far exceeds anything i have used to this point. the touch screen is super responsive..if there is a negitive, it is that a few apps are not available, but i find i don't miss them. there are plenty in the app store, and i don't get to use 1/4 of that i have now...if you want a great phone, and camera, this is the handset to get, far better than apple phone, and better than the android i was using...

I switched to the Lumia after a so-so experience with Android. It has blown me away so far with very few shortcomings.
I wanted a phone with the best camera and the Lumia definitely delivers. I have been able to capture great pictures in a variety of conditions. From natural light with a still subject, to a concert where I could not use the flash.
The operating system is very intuitive, and the live tiles make it very easy to use the programs you need.
