Everything is great but it needs expandable memory. Windows operating system is awesome, but MS needs to pay app designers or design ApS themselves so they come out first on our phones.

Coolest phone out there

Windows 8 has the most elegant interface of any platform out there. And the 1020 does the rest in terms of completing a beautiful overall design. I am a heavy Office 365/Outlook user, and the integration across my Windows devices is flawless. The camera, or course, makes jaws drop in several different continents. Problems are poor integration between its native music application and playlists on iTunes; native music application being unsophisticated (no cross-fades between songs, for example.) Whatsapp is also imperfect on Windows 8. As is the shifting between languages when it comes to voice recognition. In all, problems have more to do with the Windows 8 platform needing some tweaking, rather than with the phone -- Which is a magnificent, sleek machine.

I love the camera, the clarity and features are amazing. I like One Drive and how it works with my laptop. The reason I didn't give more starts: Music is slow, doesn't read my entire library and sorting/editing ability is limited. The number and types of apps is limited.

The Lumia 1020 is a really great combo of phone and camera. Both work exceptionally well, especially the 41 mp camera. No longer need 2 devices for excellent pictures, videos and communications.

Beautiful pictures with unmatched quality, especially when zooming after taking the photo. Sturdy phone, easy to use, it just works. Perfect size.
