The camera is great ,to the point I do not carry my big DSLR any more.
It has good flash and 3 times zoom.
I wish it would have larger storage or place for memory a card.
I had Lumia 920 before which was identical to 1020 except the camera.
I have not had any problems with Nokia products.

Cortana being my personal assistant makes this phone so much more worth while! The camera of course is the best in the market! The software that has been developed makes me love it so much more!!!! I've been using Windows phone for over 10 years! Love it! I will be a loyal follower for life!!!

I have been a customer of the wireless industry beginning in the mid-90's with the military. I've had horrible phones, good phones, and the occasional "OH WOW" phone. The Lumia 1020 is definitely an "OH WOW"! OneDrive is spectacular--I can save documents without sacrificing space, the camera is phenomenal, and I love Cortana.
The only drawback I have is the time I have to spend specific settings functions (WiFi Hotspot, for example). If there were a specific spot for that in the directory than under settings, then I could give this phone a perfect score. However, I'll still give it a 99 anyway!

Lumia 1020 is the best phone and phone camera on the market (period). Hardware is a little dated now, and can't wait for a refresh, but I can never go back to a regular camera phone anymore. Love WP 8.1 as well.
Battery was great initially but about almost 2 years now it barely makes it a whole day. I would love to see a bigger screen with a bigger battery as well as an updated camera hardware.

Great camera and OS

The camera on this phone is amazing. I really the features added in Windows Phone 8.1. I'm typing this with the new swype-like keyboard. The only downside is that the app store is smaller.

One of the best phones for making and receiving calls. You actually can hear the person talking with clarity. The camera is unbelievably great, receive many compliments on photos and videos. Wifi search and reception keeps the data costs minimal
