Ink Cartridges are only worth about 50 pages each

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a bad printer or scanner, but I went through 2 black ink cartridges in about 100 pages. They offer a per monthly ink purchase but these are also based on ridiculously low volumes. I bought it to carry along on work for motel room use, but its lack of ink makes it unsuitable for even this type of use. Buy something better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using HP cartridges for about 9 years now in one of their printers that I've had for a little over 7 years and have had no problems with either product. I buy color cartridges for the same printer. All are great quality products.
