Leaks from the freezer

We love the drawer for keeping deli meats, cheeses and eggs. But it has a faulty design where an ice dam builds under the freezer drawer. You have to lay on the floor to see the ice inside. If you don't get it out, it leaks all over the floor under the fridge. It ruined our hardwood floors. We paid to have it repaired as part of our warranty and it started again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our new fridge handles all the necessary daily life functions that we demand in a efficient and consistant manner. From the great lighting to find those missing items to the storage features that help us keep ourselves organized. I especially like the gentle reminders either in print or a pleasing audio reminder that something needs my attention. Friends and family have commented on how nice my new appliance is and they will definitely be considering the same in their next purchase. Thank you, Maytag.

Only had the refrigerator for a couple of weeks. So far it is great, easy access using the doors or draws. Temperature remains constant and food stays longer.lighting is terrific using the led lights.Seems to run a lot less time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This refrigerator looks great and has a lot of room but...

The filter dropped down and was difficult to snap back into place. Twice we've had problems with the ice maker. Once we fixed it ourselves. The second time it was necessary to have a technician come fix it. I told the technician that the doors must be firmly shut so he tilted our refrigerator back a little to help with that problem but there have still been a couple of instances of the door being found slightly ajar. I've never heard the door alarm that is supposed to alert you to a door being left open. On the positive side, the interior design is very convenient and I like the look from the outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator gave me so much headaches with the top valve that it had to be replaced 3 times and still not solved the problem.Will be returned today to the store.

Bought a floor model with the stipulation that it was being sold as new so I got a great price.I am confident it will be fixed perfectly and be a great refrigerator.After three visits from the repairman, a fourth visit scheduled, it still does not dispense cubed ice, only crushed.He fixed the drainage problem that was allowing ice to form in the freezer compartment beneath the drawer.Why can't the ice chute be designed so that all of the ice goes into the cup, instead of a fraction of the chips going onto the floor every time?

when i hear it making ice it is music to my ears. in my married life of 58 years this is the most excellent appiance owned. i love the drawer and the capacity to hold all of my food is great, especially when i am going to entertain. the dealer was most helpful too.
