good basic refrigerator

I have had this refrigerator for 2 months now. It works great. No frills here BUT it will keep your food cold. I like the wire shelves because it allows the cold air to circulate more efficiently. I did order another shelf for the fresh food area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GOOD points: Very solidly built - Big, Bad and Black (my color choice)!NO de-frosting required! Pleanty of room in both freezer and firdge part!Lots of room in door! Uses LESS energy the the old one.MIDDLE points: NO little egg cups? A bit loud, but I am getting use to it.BAD points: NONE!

This refrigerator would benefit greatly from a full shelf in the freezer. Slots are built infor one, but no shelf available at all. Also a freezer light is needed. Freezer is not small and stacking everything from the bottom (where the vents are) is not alwayspractical, or efficient for the cooling design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good refrigerator for the price point

We chose this refrigerator because it was reasonably priced and available in black to match our kitchen. It is fairly quiet and its motor cannot be heard outside of the room it is in. It has plenty of space for a family of four. It does not have the bells and whistles such as an ice-maker but we did not want those more expensive options. I like this unit very much for the price.
