Keeps up with my family!

First of all I bought a whirlpool cabrio washer back in 2012 but didn't get the dryer at that time. Well when I finally needed a new dryer and could afford it, I was surprised to find out that I could still get the model that matched my washer!So as my title exclaims it keeps up with my family! I have myself, my husband and 3 daughters (yes they change at least 3 times a day), it is super efficient and gets my clothes dry on the first go round! I wouldn't have enough time to get it all done if it wasn't for its efficiency! It even survived crayons!I love my Whirlpool products and hope to get more in the near future!Sincerely,Rebecca Williamson (wife of Daniel)

I do not like that after the dryer is finished drying & on wrinkle feature it shuts off & then comes back on briefly until you take the clothes out. This makes my clothes come out wrinkled so I have to iron them. My previous dryer went on a cool cycle & beeped every ?10 minutes until you took them out & then they were not wrinkled. I tried a lower temperature setting & they then were damp. I would not buy this dryer again for this reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the Job

After 12 years with our previous Whirlpool dryer, we purchased this Whirlpool based on good reviews from previous buyers and Consumer Reports. The dryer works effectively and quietly The AccuDry is great. This dryer does the job without dishing out a lot of $$$$.

This product has some very goo features

The dryer hamper door is definitely a plus and I would recommend this feature to anyone. On the flip side what is not so great is that the dryer seems to shut off the heat on the Auto Dry cycle too soon and then the clothes are still damp when the cycle finishes, I keep the dial on More Dry on the Auto Dry cycle and still sometimes have to dry the clothes twice. I don't see where this is saving energy at all. I do keep the lint screen clean and most of the time have to dry the laundry on High heat setting because the medium is not quite enough even for the permanent press type of laundry. Low heat setting works okay for fine washables but again many of the fabrics requiring low heat do not dry thoroughly.

this dryer is fast, wrinkle free, thinks on its own, just put the clothes in set it on what you want and the dryer does the rest, no hassel and uses less electricy than our old one, glad we chose whirlpool product

Cost-efficient & Always gets the job done!

I purchased my washer and dryer set last march and I can honestly say I have no complaints! The washing machine effectively cleans everything from king size comforters, dog beds, oily dust rags, and more! I love that it is energy efficient as well as it only uses enough for water to cover the load, therefor cutting utility costs and keeping detergent more concentrated so it cleans loads better. The dryer automatically senses when clothes are dry and has a wrinkle shield that stays on for 1.5 hrs ad actually works to keep clothes from wrinkling! There are all the necessary features plus some that make the laundry scene as painless as possible :) Thanks Whirlpool!

Very Nice Dryer

We purchased a Cabrio washer about 5 yrs ago & have been pleased with it in every way so there was no question we'd buy a Cabrio dryer when our existing dryer died. I've been using it about a month & have not been disappointed. It does a great job of drying & is quiet & spacious. The controls are a little clunky. You have to push power & start & if you take the items drying out before the cycle ends you have to remember to push the power button again to turn off the flashing lights. I have forgotten to do this & the flashing stayed on all night until I discovered it the next day. I also find the "computer game" noises a little annoying. I would suggest the finish cycle alert go off before the cool down rather than after which would allow the opportunity to start folding before the cycle has ended completely. I also would prefer a flat top rather than the slanted one. Things slide off (including the cat).
