Perfect size and picture

I can't say enough of how much I am glad to have purchased this. The picture quality is incredible. Works great with my ROKU and PS3.

I got what I paid for...

I would have to retract my last statement of this product. It has now been six months that I've had the TV and I'm becoming slowly disappointed in it. I bought it from an online warehouse in July 2012 as refurbished. The AVL (sound leveler), one of the main reasons I bought the TV, doesn't work the way I'm used to as it did in my last analog Magnavox TV. It seems to work for video games, but not really for TV shows, and music, it doesn't work at all. In fact, the TV programs, video games and the music are all at different levels and not the same.
And just recently, one of the speakers blew out and it has to now be connected to external speakers. I don't even remember if I bought a warranty with it and I'm also contemplating on replacing it.
Pros: excellent hi-def picture with hdmi cables, multiple hdmi ports
Cons: weak speaker quality, began to wear out over time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Performance of first unit influenced purchase of second

We were so pleased with the performance of our 42" HDTV, we purchased a second 19" HDTV for my office desk. Philips has always been a quality label and they haven't disappointed us on these units.

The tv worked great for about a month. Now, it blows an internal power cord fuse everytime it shuts off.
Pros: cost
Cons: cheap internal parts
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has great features.

It works great as a TV, Video for DVD player, and for a PC. The only problem that I have is for the PC. The resolution is not great. I have been looking for a driver for the monitor, but, so far, have not found one. My computer is using a default driver.
Pros: nice picture for tv and video functions
Cons: resolution is very poor for pc monitor function.

The TV has performed flawlessly and it is on nearly 24 hours of the day. My wife has had a stroke and is confined to the bed most of the time and she would be lost without it. I don't think you can get a better unit for the price we paid for this one.

Excellent little TV

I use this model in my bedroom right now. It is a rather small bedroom so the size is perfect. The picture quality is great and it has never had a single defective pixel (stuck or dead).
I regularly use the EasyLink feature, which is nice. All I have to do is turn on the device, like my PS3, and the TV automatically turns itself on and goes to the HDMI1 source that the PS3 is hooked up to.
I really can't say anything bad about this one at all. Thanks Philips!
Pros: easylink, digital coax output, can be used as a computer monitor easily, usb port
