Horrible Product

We had purchased a PT-90 for sporadic usage in the office. After printing only a few labels, the "low battery" indicator came on, so we swapped out the batteries for new ones. The same thing happened, so we cleaned the terminals as suggested and purchased an entirely new batch of batteries. Again, after printing only one label the "low battery" indicator came on and the machine stumbled through printing the label.
At that point we contacted Brother customer service who replaced the product (and was polite and helpful by the way!). Unfortunately the exact same issue occurred. Rather than go through the hassle of yet another return, we've elected to go with another product from a completely different manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good labeler for the price.

I like this label maker but it is not exactly user friendly. I use it fairly often and have to check the directions each time to make sure I'm using it correctly. Also the battery life is pretty poor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery Low signal even with new batteries

Had one for 2 years until "battery low" signal started coming up and machine shut off. Bought a new one and it immediately started the same "battery low" signal. Will never purchase another

The price is right! Ease of instructions is good. The only problem is that it is most difficult to peel the backing off.

PT-90 flaw

The machine works quite well but PEELING THE BACK OFF IS ALL BUT IMPOSSIBLE!
The so called peeling aid built into the side DOES NOT WORK!
I spend mor time trying to get the back strip off than doing all the labels!
You need to fix this flaw or stop selling this model...

could be better

Found directions hard to follow and print very small in the instruction sheet, especially trying to figure out the symbols. I have to refer to the instructions each time I use it. They don't seem to follow the instruction booklet. Print rubs off if label is put in an area that hands touch. Wish there was more than small printing (which is too small) and large (which is not large enough)
