Not Happy- very noisy- review is after 3 months

In the past I viewed GE as outstanding American quality built products.
NOW- not anymore
This refrigerator is very noisy and always has ice deposits on the inside of the top of the freezer door ( re-aligned several times - same problem).
The noise varies from mild screeching to a Not so distant jet fighter taking off.
At night I wake up thinking I am at a military airbase with the airfield in a distance.

Not happy - when it dies it will not be replaced with a GE product

Love it!!

I bought this refrigerator to replace a 30 year old GE. I love the glass shelves (my old one had wire shelves), clear bins (old ones were metal), and most of all, the gallon door shelves. I can see everything at a glance. No noisier than any other fridge and the temperatures are consistent. The stainless steel looks great. I could not be more pleased.

I bought it 3 months ago and all seems good so far. At first there were all kinds of noises emanating when the compressor was running but it seems to have quietened down now. The fan motor is still a lot louder than my previous fridge, a 25 cu. ft. GE.
I would recommend this to a friend!
