I love this television. I was worried about getting my moneies worth when I purhcased it. When I got it home and installed it, I was amazed at how clear and real everything looked. There are times it seems as though you can reach into the screen and grab something. Blu Ray is amazing on this screen, as close to real life as one could get. Even watching pay per view fights made you feel as though you were sitting in the ring. My hat's off to LG for such an amazing product!
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: Difficult to use

When the 55LD650 arrived, I settled in for a long evening of getting it up and running. Instead, it was up and running in well under an hour, and I was watching the most realistic picture I have ever seen. I've told friends that I keep getting up to look behind the TV to see if the actors are actually there :-)
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, east to set up

Wow What A TV!

I found this LG unexpectedly while doing some research on LCDs. It seemed too good to be true so I checked it out. Best purchase I ever made. Easy to set up. Enough connections to add all my components and then some. Excellent picture. I love the ECO mode too. Another nice touch. LG has turned me into a believer.

What a Christmas!

Okay, it didn't start out perfect. I bought myself the tv for Christmas (Dec. 2) and brought it home and set it up. My TV had a faint row of white dots that showed up sometimes when going from a brightly lit scene to a dark one. Not really noticable until you saw them and then you start looking for them. Well, this is a NEW TV so I wanted it right! I called LG ready for a fight, but they were very nice, had a local repair shop call me the next day and within a week he showed up with complete new innards (sp) for the television. Repair was done in my house in about an hour. No questions.
Hands down the best service I've ever had on an appliance (or anything for that matter).
My daughter has a large LCD tv that is 120hz, she said she's never seen a picture as bright, clear and lifelike as this television has. I've been putting off buying a new tv for years simply because my old one still worked. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying one sooner. And you will notice that the purchase was just in time for the bowl games.

We recieved the 55 LD 650 yesterday and simply hooked it up to basic cable. The picture is wonderful. We will have a cable box delivered in a few days so we can enjoy all the features.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, on screen simple user manual.
Cons: detailed user manual is on a cd.

At first I thought this TV was going to be too large for my apartment but was pleasantly surprised with its slim design and absolutely stunning picture. The 240hz True Motion really makes a difference on this large 55 inch screen. This feature along with the ethernet or wireless connections for use of the internet sold me. This TV delivers much, much more than I expected.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: none i've seen.
