I hate to sound like a commercial but it really does work well with the new cascade gel pouches. Hassle-free, easy and clean dishes. No more need to scratch off dry food or residue from dishes. The new design of the dish racks and silverware basket are also very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our prime criterion was noise level, so we chose a more expensive model. We assumed it would have a rinse cycle. We were wrong. The store rep did not show us a summary of features, which would have shown no rinse cycle. Ultimately, it's our fault for the purchase.

We would not have purchased this model had we known it was lacking a rinse cycle. In fact, it seems absurd to us that a higher end dishwasher would not have one. This leaves us annoyed and wishing we had purchased another washer, one that might not have been a Kitchenaid. We are NOT satisfied with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all this is a fine dishwasher for the $. Nice feature set, good cleaning performance. Most impressed with the quiet noise levels - we have an open floor plan and all we hear is a very hushed gurgling - it's actually a soothing noise! Most importantly, dishes come out clean and there is plenty of room on the racks and ability to configure things to handle multiple different situations. Only question in this first year of use is durability - already one of the brilliant blue indicator lights on the front panel has burnt out - not a good sign. (Love the bright blue lights - modern looking). And yes - this dishwasher's front panel buttons are VERY sensitive - we've had numerous guests brush by our dishwasher and turn it on accidentally. We've gotten in the habit of locking the control panel after unloading every morning. Kind of a pain - and this is something KitchenAid needs to fix as some won't have the patience for this. Cycle times are reasonable if not long but I honestly could care less how long it runs - we run ours on delay in the middle of the night. If I had to do all over again, I would spend a little more and get the integrated console look - little more modern/professional looking - but this dishwasher does the job fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid dishwasher is an excellent product, just as the salesman promised. It is handsomely designed. The stainless steel front is sleek and complements the other appliances in my kitchen, giving the kitchen a very up to date feel. It is easy to load. It is simple to operate.It is not noisy. Best of all, the dishes come out sparkling clean at the end of the wash & dry cycle. When my friends ask me if I like it, I enthusiastically answer, "yes." When they ask me if I would recommend it to them for purchase, I answer, "yes, without reservation." It is much better than my previous dishwasher, which was a real disappointment. Having it has streamlined the time it takes to clean my kitchen, and I have real confidence that when I remove the dishes and silverware from the appliance, I will be delighted with how they look.
