[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spend a good amount of $$ on this unit to replace the builder unit that came in our house. Bought it for the name brand as well as its quiet features. It is quiet and it does a good job cleaning. HOWEVER. The plastic parts are CHEAP. Ive had to replace the wheels on the top rack multiple times as they just break off, not sure why they went with such cheap plastic parts for the upper tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very thrilled with the dishwasher and the quality of the cleaning. We love the outside stainless steel. It took awhile to get it down which process we liked the best. But, all in all we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel was defective as soon as the dishwasher was installed. It was replaced, but it is so sensitive that I ALWAYS have to have the control lock on otherwise the dishwasher just starts up - even if I am standing near it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only thing that could be improved is the utensil grids , they aren't the greatest, they have a tendency to slide down. However that is the only thing I can find that could improve. All around tho it's a great running dishwaser.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Convenient Features
Cons: utensil grids not stern enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my kitchen is open to the family room, I opted for the quieter model, and am very pleased with the decision. The dishwasher does have a delayed start setting, but I've only used it a few times, since experiencing how quiet it runs. I suppose this feature would be better utilized when there is competition for the water - like washing clothes or showers. There has been some issues with dishes being completely dry at the end of the cycle, even when using the Heated Dry option, but after reading the manual, I started adding rinse agent and spacing the plastic items further apart. Both suggestions have helped to resolve this problem.
Pros: Convenient Features, Extremely Quiet
Cons: doesn't completely dry plastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has completely blown away our expectations. It's amazing, except for one issue which I know other people have mentioned. If you lean up against the dishwasher, the control panel lights up thinking you're trying to start a cycle. If you don't push any other buttons, it will stop and not actually start the cycle. Other than that, this dishwasher is great. It actually cleans my dishes, without me having to scrub every piece of food off. But the most important thing? It actually dries the dishes too. Our previous dishwasher (circa 1985) would sort of wash the dishes, but certainly not dry them. You had to wipe everything off with a towel after the cycle was complete. But not with this KitchenAid dishwasher. Plus, the stainless steel inside makes the dishwasher feel sort of.... luxurious. There is one piece of the dishwasher that we actually took off, because it was more trouble than it was worth - the silverware separators. They worked, but it was time consuming to put each individual piece of silverware in each hole and some of our silverware didn't fit. Anyway, I love this dishwasher!!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Convenient Features, Design
Cons: control panel lights up when you lean on it
