I really love this tooth brush. I just wish it had a " low & high" speed but overall its excellent!
Pros: easy to use, really gets your teeth cleaner than a manual, you feel like you had a professional cleaning
Cons: only one speed

I have used a Sonicare for a couple years,this one is for travel and I loved the price .

I wish there were a few changes to the design

First, the battery should be replaceable. It is a waste to toss out the handle every three years. Second, I wish that this model would beep every 30 seconds like the last model I had. Third, something should be added to the plastic in the brush head to deter formation of mold. The brush head should be easier to clean on the inside. Fourth, it is hard to hold the brush so that the back side of the front teeth are brushed at the correct angle. I need to supplement the electric toothbrush with a manual toothbrush to clean behind the front teeth to prevent a build up of tartar. Otherwise, the toothbrush works well.

This toothbrush holds it power longer than 7 days, which makes short travels very nice. The travel pouch is great for traveling too.
Cons: water/toothpaste leaks into the center section

I just love my new toothbrush. It has the right amount of power. I know my teeth are getting very clean. My teeth look whiter. I do not have to worry about performance because after just one use it is definitely there. My teeth and gums are in the best shape ever. It cleans in all the little spaces. It takes care of the plaque. I have not seen my gums irritated at all from the new toothbrush. It is so easy to operate. The button to turn it on or off is easy to use. I do not see water draining down the toothbrush and none on the station to clean off. I love having the pink toothbrush and overall design.
Pros: getting rid of plaque, cleans in all the spaces, keeps my teeth whiter, easy to operate, doesn't have water going down it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for the first time a Sonicare Essence for my daughter in 2002 right after she got her braces. A Sonicare was recommended by her DDS. Buying this one as a Christmas Gift, and the pink color handle made the decision a sure thing. She is still using the first one, works fine, but I thought it was time [after 15 yrs] for a new with the pink details. Thanks Philips for a great long-lasting product.
