I upgraded to the 8350 from the 710HD. The 710HD left something to be desired in the black level. The 8350 throws a stunning picture with great clarity and the black level is superb. I no longer get distracted by the rainbow effect (my former DLP projector before the 710HD) or black levels. Now, I just get totally immersed in the movie experience---as one should be. I highly recommend this projector. Watching Blurays on it is like being at the movies! The only concern I have is the bulb. The 8350 is known for bulb issues. I know Epson has great customer service and a great warranty, though, so I am not worried. I'll give it 9.5 of 10 stars. If the bulb had a reputation for lasting all or nearly all of its advertised 4,000 hours, it would be a perfect 10! Don't hesitate to buy, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!

We purchased this product in August, and love the quality and performance it brings to our home theater! The color on the screen is beautiful and the projector is quieter than a whisper! I would recommend this product to anyone! The price was very economically low compared to other brands! We and our family and friends are enjoying every minute with this projector!

Love this project - easy to ceiling mount - great controls - sharp picture...Very Nice even in lit room. Very Happy with this unit so far.

For the money, best projector out there. I've had it over a year and use it in multiple locations and everyone oo's and ah's over it everytime I set it up.

For the home theater enthusiast you can't go wrong with this projector. If your comparing features and performance nothing comes closes in its price range. It has a gorgeous picture and plenty of options for connectivity. The 4000 hour estmiated lamp life was a huge buying factor for me. The customer service at Epson is top notch and i would recommend their products to anyone.

Great projector for the price

The quality of the picture from the projector is as good as projectors for twice the price. I did have an issue with the auto iris function on my projector and Epson is providing a replacement. Although I am dissapointed that I had a problem I am very happy with the customer service and support provided by Epson. Any manufacturer can have a problem, it is how they respond to that problem that makes a difference.
