Still not entirely worth it...

I've been a Samsung user for over 10 years now. I experienced the evolution of the note series and afterwards the ultra. I learned to love their devices more and more. The S25 ultra is a beast on every smartphone front. It delivers on every promise it made. Not so much the fold... Yes, the inner display is gorgeous. But, Samsung already has antireflective coating which the fold didn't get. Battery is on the smaller size, yet it still brings you through an entire day of use. I could the fingerprint scanner on the side better than the under screen scanner on the ultra. I can learn to live with the narrower cover screen, but again they could have easily made it with a more user friendly aspect ratio. It's a compromise which makes no sense. But the worst and what I cannot learn to live with are the cameras. Samsung is a competitor to itself and the fold just cannot live up the Ultra's cameras. I wanted to love this phone and I hesitated for 6 months before actually buying it. But my current S25 ultra is just perfect overall whereas the fold is perfect everywhere except for the camera.

I have a Z Fold 6, which I love and my partner envied it so I bought him a Z Fold 7 for Christmas. It's in a drawer waiting till Xmas. He'll probably like it.
