[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine brings me joy. It's easy to use and makes amazing espresso. I don't use the steam wand much (I prefer to microwave the milk - just easier and I don't care about the froth). Use it daily and thoroughly enjoy my drinks. Very happy with the purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase this product about a month ago. So far it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made. I highly recommend this expresso bar. We use it every night.
Does not work. Provided documentation insufficient

Do not buy. I followed the setup instructions, but water did not flow through the machine. I found numerous tutorials, forum comments, etc describing how to prime the device for first use. Frustratingly, none of those worked. Irritatingly, very few of the priming instructions were found in the Cuisinart documentation. It's a known problem they don't have a solution for.

We're sorry to hear your Espresso Bar™ Grind & Brew Espresso Machine continues to leak even after reinstallation. To help resolve the issue, please ensure the water tank is fully seated, all parts are clean and properly positioned, and that the tank is not filled beyond the maximum fill line, as this can sometimes cause leaking. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the Espresso Bar™ Grind & Brew Espresso Machine. If the water reservoir is leaking immediately after being filled, we recommend ensuring the reservoir is fully seated in place and checking for any visible cracks, damage, or obstructions around the connection points. Since a reservoir should not empty on its own under normal operation, please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8901044059 so we can provide additional troubleshooting assistance. Thank you for sharing your experience with us—your feedback helps us identify opportunities to improve product quality and enhance future consumer experiences.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The large handle on the left side of your machine is the assisted tamping lever. Its function is to press and compact the loose coffee grounds inside your portafilter into a flat, even "puck" before you brew, ensuring consistent water flow and preventing channeling. Your comments help us improve future models and enhance the overall consumer experience.
