[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the new Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 Flying RC Hi-Tech Edition Buzz Lightyear
Wow! This is a super-cool new offering from Mattel. First, Buzz looks amazing in the box....it looks like a collectors edition that could easily grace a shelf or display case. Should you decide to play with it - as we did - the toy is easy to open and get started with. Press a few simple buttons and Buzz takes off in the air. You can easily control where and how he flies using the straightforward remote control. We flew Buzz inside and outside and had an absolute blast. He hit the walls a few times, but held together, as strong as ever. One nice thing is that the toy is chargeable, so you don't need to worry about replacing the batteries all the time. We've played with this toy several times already and are still enjoying it. Would definitely recommend for kids and even adults who grew up with the movie and like some fun Buzz Lightyear-style.

Surprisingly Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was terrified this would shatter on day one, but it is built tough. Buzz has crashed into the hardwood floor, and took a hard dive into the kitchen table, yet nothing has snapped off. The plastic is flexible enough to absorb the impact.I highly recommend helping them during their first few flights until they get a feel for the joysticks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute flying Buzz! buzz is mostly foam so be careful if your kids are younger. It’s a good starter flying toy my kids are still getting the hang of it. I like that it includes extra fins in case one breaks. I also like that once he falls it automatically stops the propellers nice safety feature!

Flying Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re huge Toy Story fans, so we were excited to try the new Flying Buzz Lightyear RC toy and watch Buzz evolve into a flying toy.
Buzz is made from a combination of lightweight foam and plastic. Charging Buzz is easy, and the remote simply requires batteries. Before flying, you do need to pair Buzz with the remote, which is a quick and easy process.
Takeoff was straightforward, but once Buzz was in the air, learning the controls took a little practice. After getting the hang of it, hovering, flying around, and performing stunt tricks were a lot of fun.
This is designed as an indoor toy, but flying it inside can be challenging since it is easy to bump into walls or furniture. After about 30 minutes of play, Buzz flew into a wall and the piece surrounding one of the propellers cracked.
Overall, this toy is engaging, entertaining, and a lot of fun once you learn the controls. However, it does seem somewhat delicate. If you are a Toy Story fan, this is a fun and exciting way to bring Buzz to life.

Great Toy needs longer battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this toy. We used it outside, my daughter was able to figure out the controls fairly easily. I still haven't been able to figure them out. When learning make sure to be in a clear space where you don't knock into anything or power lines. The drawback is the battery doesn't last long so you can't play with him for a long time.
