I had an older, EOL, Nighthawk and replaced it with newer model. Netgear gave me a 20% discount and had it here in short order. I am very happy with the unit and using the app, installation was seamless.

I bought this as an alternative to my other router, I've never had a Nighthawk router but it's standing up to its popularity. Love how easy it was to setup. The connection has been consistently stable and good, the only issue I would say I have is the settings, I would they were a bit more user friendly and customizable for gaming. Otherwise great router for the price.

I have a 1667 Sq feet house and it did a good job reaching every part of the house at fast speeds.

Excellent small home network router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This router is excellent for a small household at a great price. The setup was so quick and simple and being able to extend my Ethernet to a WiFi router is great for multi level homes. I’ve got several TVs, speakers and gaming systems wired in, greatly improving speed!

Investigate before purchasing! I thought I did a good job before purchasing, but nothing automatically connected. I had to re-install our printer, all TV's, security cameras, etc. Still can't connect to one of my cameras. Solar panels haven't reported since install of new router. Apparently I have to have ethernet extenders now. I thought this would give me better service than my old Netgear2400, but no comparison. Range extender doesn't work with the new router either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
