[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QM5A, and honestly, this monitor is stupendous. The 240Hz refresh rate feels insanely smooth, especially for fast-paced gaming, and the Fast IPS panel gives everything a clean, sharp look without sacrificing responsiveness. Motion feels crisp, input feels immediate, and the overall experience is a huge upgrade compared to a standard 60Hz or 144Hz display.
The 24-inch size is perfect for competitive gaming because everything stays easy to track, and the Full HD resolution still looks great at this screen size. I also really appreciate the FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatibility, because gameplay feels much more fluid with minimal tearing or stuttering. The colors are solid, the design looks clean, and it has that durable TUF Gaming feel without being overly flashy.

This little monitor is pretty good. Setup was easy, price was decent, app works well. I like that you can adjust the display settings in about a million different ways, and the Nvidia g-sync is a cool feature. One thing I found annoying was that it says it does all these things in terms of arm adjustment, like pivot and height adjustment, but it’s pretty static. You can only tilt it about 2 degrees, anything else can’t be done unless buy a new arm. Seemed a bit cash grabby to me but oh well.

This monitor was a huge upgrade from the 60hz panel I’ve had for 10+ years. The 240hz refresh rate with my 9700 xt graphics is very stellar. Everything that displays on this monitor is buttery smooth.

Cons: The only thing I didnt like about this monitor is the lack of customization in the OSD menu, its missing some stuff like a sharpness option, and a gamma option. Also I couldnt find an firmware updates, maybe its already up to date
