The Flip Belgian Waffle Maker is a regular waffle maker -- it produces a waffle only about half the required thickness -- also (at maximum heat setting) browning takes too long and is inadequate for a Belgian waffle mix. The removable grids clean easily.

Hamilton beach french Flip Belgian waffle iron...

This is my first waffle iron and it works amazing.
My grandchildren even love this product.
The only issue is the iron doesn't have interchangeable plates to make different sized waffles.other than that this iron is amazing.

my first time using the waffle maker but I will say it cooked the waffle very well and I could actually understand the instructions in the booklet instead of having to go online to figure it out

Just tried my new waffle maker and was very pleased with the design and ease of use, not to mention the perfectly done waffles which were delicious. Very easy to clean also, love the removable grids and drip plate...
